Bought to strain two full teaspoons of powdered spices for a spice tea. Whilst it contains the majority of the mix, a little 'sludge' still gets through, but not enough to cause issues. Very good strainer, with a very fine mesh. Works well to ensure the spices can infuse. Very impressed with the quality.
