COVID-19 Update

Hey everyone,

I hope that you’re all staying safe and keeping healthy through these unprecedented times. I understand it can be mentally draining to self isolate and not go crazy, especially when the weather is so nice out there ☀️

Our Update

I just wanted to reach out and give you all an update about what’s happening here at The Ideal Sunday. As we are online only store, we are fortunate to be able to keep sending out your orders so long as there are couriers to deliver them. 

The Ideal Sunday was only set up a couple of months ago and I am still running everything from my home for now but I wanted to reassure you that I have been voluntarily self-isolating as much as possible to minimise any contact with others. Also, all of my deliveries are dropped outside so I have no contact with anyone there either. I have been following all the hygiene advice from the government and have not shown any symptoms whatsoever. Unless this changes I will continue to send out orders and will advise if there is any change to this.

Delivery

We send all our orders through Royal Mail and so far they haven’t changed any services that affect our operations so the 24 and 48 hour delivery services we offer are still available. That being said some of my incoming deliveries using other couriers have been a little delayed so it’s best to allow some extra time before getting in contact with me about a missing order.

I pre-pay and package your orders at home then drop them straight into a postage bag at the post office so I never need to come into contact with anyone when dispatching.

If Royal Mail state that there will be delays in their services then I will put an update on our Delivery & Returns page.
