Acala was founded by Hanna Pumfrey, who has a huge passion for the environment and making the lives we lead more sustainable, without having to make big lifestyle changes. Sustainability became important to Hanna after working in a London office and seeing the rubbish bins in her office fill up every day with paper cups and lunch bag wrappers with busy colleagues completely unconscious to the amount of waste they were contributing to landfill daily. Acala came from Hanna’s desire to make being a conscious consumer simple and accessible to all.
